Messenger of Allah (S) said,
"When a slave of Allah suffers from illness or sets on a journey, he
is credited with the equal of whatever good works he used to do when he
was healthy or at home."
[Al-Bukhari]
Commentary: This Hadith implies that when a person does good deeds
regularly but becase of difficult times he is unable to do them, then he
will still be rewarded as if he has performed the good deed.
This is like the hadith,
"Remember Allah during times of ease and He will remember you during times of difficulty.” (Tirmidhi)
