"Verily, the Judgment Day is coming"

"Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. Therefore, let not the one who believes not therein (i.e. in the Day of Resurrection, Reckoning, Paradise and Hell), but follows his own lusts, divert you therefrom, lest you perish."

(Qur'an 20:15-16)

They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): "When will be its appointed time?" Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you except all of a sudden."

(Qur'an 7:187)

"Keep company of the God-conscious. Do not look at the glitter of Life"

And keep yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His Face; and let not your eyes pass beyond them seeking the pomp and glitter of this Life; nor obey any whose heart We have permitted to neglect the remembrance of Us, one who follows his own desires, whose case has gone beyond all bounds.

(Qur'an 18:28)

This Aayah teaches us 3 lessons:
1) Sit with those who remember Allah, who praise Him, and call on Him, whether rich or poor, strong or weak. Make yourself patiently content with sitting with those people, even if they may be poor and weak.
2) Do not be greedy about the riches and luxury of the world. Do not seek the people of nobility and wealth instead.
3) Do not obey or admire the way of those who are distracted by this world from being committed to the religion and from worshipping their Lord.
