The Prophet (S) rehearsed the Qur'an every Ramadan

"The month of Ramadan is in which the Qur'an was sent down, a guidance for mankind, and clear proofs for the guidance, and the Criterion (of right and wrong)"
(Quran 2:185)

Ibn 'Abbaas( R.A) narrates that

The Messenger of Allah(SAW) was the most generous person, and he would be at his most generous in Ramadan because Jibreel would come to him every night and he would rehearse the Qur'an with him."
(Bukhari)

This Hadith contains recommendation of the following:
  • Studying the Qur'ân in Ramadhaan
  • Coming together for this purpose
  • Checking (one's memory/knowledge of) the Qur'ân with someone who has preserved it better
  • Increasing recitation of the Qur'ân in Ramadan
  • Appreciating that the night time is the best time to recite, when other preoccupations decrease and it is easier to concentrate, as in (Soorah Al-Muzzammil 73:6)

Further, Fatimah(Ra) narrated from her father(SAW), who told her that

"Jibreel would rehearse the Qur'ân with him (in Ramadan) once every year, and he did so twice in the year of his death."
(Bukhari 6/485)

"The snake will bite his cheeks saying "I'm your wealth"

Allah’s Apostle S.A.W. said,
“Whoever is made wealthy by Allah and does not pay the Zakat of his wealth, then on the Day of Resurrection his wealth will be made like a bald-headed poisonous male snake with two black spots over the eyes. The snake will encircle his neck and bite his cheeks and say, ‘I am your wealth, I am your treasure.’ ”

Then the Prophet S.A.W recited the holy verses:
"And let not those who covetously withhold of that which Allâh has bestowed on them of His Bounty (Wealth) think that it is good for them (and so they do not pay the obligatory Zakat). Nay, it will be worse for them; the things which they covetously withheld shall be tied to their necks like a collar on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allâh belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allâh is WellAcquainted with all that you do." (Surah Ali Imran’ 3:180)

[Sahih Bukhari]

"When an evil thought comes to you, seek refuge in Allah"

"And if an evil whisper comes to you from Shaitaan (Satan) then seek refuge with Allah. Verily, He is All-Hearer, All-Knower.
Verily, those who are Al-Muttaqoon (the pious), when an evil thought comes to them from Shaitaan (Satan), they remember (Allah), and (indeed) they then see (aright)."

(Qur'an 7:200)

The people of Taqwa, when an evil thought, or anger, or the whispers of Shaytan cross their mind, or they intend to err, or commit an error, they remember Allah's punishment, as well as, His tremendous reward. They remember Allah's promises and threats, and they turn to Him and seek refuge with Him from the Shaytaan (A'oodhubillahi minash shaiytaanir Rajeem).
