Can you be a good Muslim without struggling in life?
The answer is: No.
And for very obvious reasons. Islam is not merely the confession of a
faith which is made once in a lifetime. It requires changing of our life
and thought.
This will bring you
into an unending struggle in leading a pure life as taught by Allah and
His Messenger (S), while living in an impure environment of our society
where evil deeds have become part of the culture under the name of "fun"
and "freedom".
Prophet (SAWS) said: "There will come a
time where a Muslim holding fast to his deen (religion) is like he who
is holding a hot coal." (Al-Tirmidhi, sahih)
Every
act of sacrifice nourishes your Iman; for it transforms a verbal
confession of Islam into a living reality. Therefore, it is through
sacrifice that you can truly learn to love Allah, and to live and die
for Him.
