8 Beautiful Lessons!!!
1) Make "good deeds" your "beloved companion", as it is the only companion that will accompany you when you lie alone in your dusty grave.
The Prophet (S) said about the grave of the righteous muslim, "Then there comes to him a man with a handsome face and handsome clothes, and a good fragrance, who says, ‘Receive the glad tidings that will bring you joy this day.’ He says, ‘Who are you? Your face is a face which brings glad tidings.’ He says, ‘I am your righteous deeds.’
(Narrated by Ahmad; classed as saheeh)
2) Control your lusts and Paradise will be your home.
"As for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. Verily, Paradise will be his abode." (Qur'an 79:40-41)
3) Everything is a waste, except that which you devote to Allah.
"Whatever is with you, will be wasted away, and whatever with Allah (of good deeds) will remain." (Quran 16:96)
4) Don't go after fame in this temporary world, seek honor and fame in the sight of Allah.
"Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you." (Qur'an 49:13)
5) Do not be jealous of what others have, because it's Allah who decides who must have how much.
"It is We (Allah) Who portion out between them their livelihood in this world, and We raised some of them above others in ranks, so that some may employ others in their work. But the Mercy (Paradise) of your Lord is better than the (wealth of this world) which they amass." (Qur'an 43:32)
6) Give up hatred and enmity towards people, and recognize your true enemy - The Shaitan.
"Surely, Shaytaan [Satan] is an enemy to you, so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his followers that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire." (Qur'an 35:6)
7) Don't forget your duties towards Allah in your pursuit to earn money; remember that your provision is in Allah's hands.
"And no (moving) living creature is there on earth but its provision is due from Allah." (Quran 11:6)
8) It is not your business will not save you from poverty, it is not your building that will save you from calamity, it not medicine that will save you from disease. Allah is the one who safeguards you from problems and creates ways for you out of every trouble, so put your trust only in Him.
"And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allah has set a measure for all things." (Qur'an 65:2-3)
