4 Lessons Every Muslim Must Remember

Allah's Messenger (S) said:
1) "Safeguard the Commandments of Allah, you will find Him before you."
meaning: If you take care of the commands of Allah and obey Him, then Allah will take care of your needs and help you.

2) "Remember Him (Allah) in prosperity and He will remember you in adversity."

meaning: We notice that many selfish people turn to Allah and pray to Him only when they are in difficulty, but when they enjoy a comfortable life, they forget Allah and His commandments. If you are obedient and thankful to Allah during good times, Allah will support you during your bad times.

3) "Be sure that which you miss, was not going to befall you; and what has befallen you, was never going to miss you."

meaning: Don't be sad if you lost something and don't be proud if you have won something, because nothing happens in this world except through the leave of Allah. If you have achieved happiness, remember that it was Allah who ordained it for you, so do not be proud, be humble and give thanks to Allah. If you have experienced hurt and failure, remember even this was ordained by Allah as a test that if you are a true believer then you would seek His help and show patience, instead of complaining and losing trust in Him.

4) "Remember that the Help of Allah is obtained with patience, and relief emerges after distress, prosperity follows adversity, and hardship is followed by ease."

meaning: Here, there is a good news for you if you are going through a difficult phase of life. Whatever trouble that you suffer in this world is temporary. Every trouble is followed by prosperity, pleasure and happiness.
