You are considered innocent if you did a sin because:
☛ you did not know that it was wrong
☛ you genuinely forgot,
☛ you were forced to do it
Muhammad (S) said “Truly, for my sake, Allah has forgiven my ummah for their mistakes (unintentional), for what they forgot , and for what they have done under force.”
[Authentic hadith related by Ibn Majah, Al-Baihaqi and others]
