Quran & Science: Pain Receptors in Skin

Recent discoveries prove that there are pain receptors present in the skin without which a person would not be able to feel pain. The Qur’aan mentioned this scientific fact more than 1,400 years ago!

“Those who reject Our signs, We shall soon Cast into the Fire; As often as their skins Are roasted through, We shall change them For fresh skins, That they may taste The Penalty: for Allah Is Exalted in Power, Wise."
(Qur'an 4:56)

Prof. Tagatat Tejasen, Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at Chiang Mai University in Thailand, has spent a great amount of time on research of pain receptors. Initially he could not believe that the Qur’aan mentioned this scientific fact. He later verified the translation of this particular Qur’aanic verse. Prof. Tejasen was so impressed by the scientific accuracy of the Qur’aanic verse, that at the 8th Saudi Medical Conference held in Riyadh on the Scientific Signs of Qur’aan and Sunnah
he proclaimed in public: “There is no God but Allah and Muhammad (s.a.w.s) is His Messenger."

Do Not Obey Your Parents if they...

"Give thanks to Me and to your parents, unto Me is the final destination.
But if they strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly,
and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and in obedience.
Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do."

(Qur'an 31:14-15)

The Prophet S.A.W.S. said: "There is no obedience to the created if it involves disobedience to the Creator."
(Musnad Ahmad, classed as Saheeh by Albaani)

"When you pass by Gardens of Jannah, Graze well"

The Prophet S.A.W.S said: “When you pass by the gardens of Paradise, then graze well.”

The Companions asked: “What are the gardens of Paradise, O Messenger of Allah?”

He replied: “The circles of Dhikr (remembrance of Allah)."

(Related by Tirmidhi)

"Any group of people who engage in the Dhikr of Allah, the angels envelop them and mercy cascades upon them, tranquillity descends upon them and Allah remembers them in the presence of those who are by Him."
(Related by Muslim, Tirmidhi)

Allah recommends you patience & forgiveness..

And verily, whosoever shows patience and forgives that would truly be from the things recommended by Allah.
(Qur'an 42:43)

.
"So overlook their faults with gracious forgiveness.''

(Qur'an 15:85)

You reach the status of one who fasts & prays by...

Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.S) said:
"A believer will attain by his good behaviour the rank of one who prays during the night and observes fasting during the day.''
[Abu Dawud]

Commentary: The two practices are difficult. But those who manage to keep them will be richly rewarded by Allah. There is a third category of men who fail to observe the above mentioned voluntary practices. Yet they are polite, and courteous in their behaviour towards others and by virtue of this sociable quality, they will also be graded up in the two other categories. And this highlights the significance and excellence of a polite and pleasing behaviour.

"To Hope for Good is also an Act of Worship"

Messenger of Allah S.A.W.S. said

"Hoping for good (from Allah) is also an act of worship of Allah."
(Related by Tirmidhi and Haakim)

"Allah says: I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me."
(Hadith Qudsi related by Bukhari and Muslim)

"Let none of you die except while thinking the best of Allah."
(Muslim)

"Look at what you sent forward for tomorrow"

"O you who believe! Fear Allah and keep your duty to Him. And let every person look to what he has sent forth for the morrow, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
"

(Qur'an 59:18)

"O you who believe! Fear Allah"
ordains the Taqwa of Allah which pertains to obeying what He ordered and staying away from what He forbade.

"and let every person look to what he has sent forth for tomorrow,"
meaning, hold yourselves accountable before you are recompensed, and think deeply about what you have kept for yourselves of good deeds for the Day of your return and being paraded before your Lord,

"Fear Allah" again ordering Taqwa,

"Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what you do." Allah asserts that surely, He knows all of your deeds and actions. Nothing that pertains to you ever escapes His observation, nor any matter of yours, whether major or minor, is ever beyond His knowledge

2 things that lead to Paradise

Abu Hurairah (radhiallahu anhu) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (sallallâhu ‘alayhi wasallam) said,

“Do you know the things which most commonly bring people into Paradise? They are fear of Allah and good character. Do you know what most commonly bring people into Hell? They are the two hollow things: the mouth and the private parts.”

(Tirmidhi 4832 and Ibn Majah)

If the Ka'bah is attacked by the Kuffar...

Allah's messenger S.A.W.S. said
“The Blood of a Muslim is worth more than the Ka’abah.”
(Sunan Ibn Majah; Silsilah El Saheehah: hadith #3420; Saheeh El Targheeb wal Tarheeb: hadith #2441)

If you knew that the Ka'abah is under attack by the Kuffaar (May Allah forbid), would you still be leading the same comfortable life as you are right now? No, you definitely would not.
Then, what are you doing while the blood of our Muslim ummah, which is more precious than the Ka'abah, has been and is being spilled by the enemies of Allah SWT?

May Allah give each of us the tawfeeq to stand up for our Muslim brothers and sisters and to struggle in His Cause and may He grant us protection under the shade of the Khilafah soon.
