Let’s see what Allah (swt) says in Qur'an about establishing strong connections with HIM through Remembrance of Allah.
“Therefore remember Me, and I will remember you…” [Al-Qur’an 2: 152]
“O you who believe! Fear Allâh and keep your duty to Him. And let every person look to what he has sent forth for tomorrow, and fear Allah.
Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what you do. And be not like those who
forgot Allah (i.e. became disobedient to Allah) and He caused them to
forget their ownselves, (let them to forget to do righteous deeds).
Those are the Faasiqoon (rebellious, defiantly disobedient to Allah).” [Al-Qur’an 59:18-19]
“Also Apostle of Allah (PBUH)
said: “Shall I not tell you the most in goodness of your deeds, the
nicest to Your Owner, the highest in your ranks, better for you than
spending gold and silver, and better for you than meeting your enemy
whereupon you strike their necks and they strike your necks?” They said
“Yes O’ Messenger of Allah.” He said: “Remembrance of Allah.” [Reported by At-Tirmithi, Al-Bukhari, Ibn Majah, and Al-Hakim]
Now let’s take a look on the situation
of those whoe loosen their connections with Allah (swt) and their Hearts
neglected Remembring HIM.
“[They are] dead, lifeless, and they know not when they will be raised up.” [Al-Qur’an 16: 21]
“Do you know of any that is similar to Him! [There is nothing like unto Him and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer].” [Al-Qur’an 19: 65]
Great ! keep up the good work !
