~ "Closer and closer to mankind comes their Reckoning: yet they heed not and they turn away." (Qur'an 21:1) ~

  • Qur'an 70: 6-15~

"They see it (the Judgment Day) indeed as far-off: But We see it near. The Day that the sky will be like molten brass, And the mountains will be like wool, And no friend will ask after a friend, Though they will be put in sight of each other―

The sinner's desire will be: would that he could redeem himself from the Penalty of that Day by (sacrificing) his children, his wife and his brother, his kindred who sheltered him. And all, all that is on earth so it could deliver him: By no means! Verily it will be the Fire of Hell!― Plucking out (burning completely) right to the skull!"

Prophet (S) said "How can I feel happy when the angel Israfil (who will blow the Trumpet on Judgment Day) has put his lips to the Trumpet and is waiting for Allah's order to blow it." {Tirmidhi}The Prophet (S) said, holding out his middle and index fingers, "The time of my advent and the Hour is like this", namely, the period between his era and the Hour is like the distance between those two fingers, i.e., very short. [Sahih Bukhari]

  • Qur'an 47: 18~

"Do they then await (anything) other than the Hour, that it should come upon them suddenly? But some of its portents (indications and signs) have already come, and when it (actually) is on them, how can they benefit then by their reminder?"

  • Qur'an 40:59~

"Verily, the Hour (Day of Judgement) is surely coming, there is no doubt it, yet most men believe not."

  • Qur'an 16:77~

"And the matter of the Hour (Day of Judgement) is not but as a twinkling of the eye, or even nearer."

  • Qur'an 26:202-203~

It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not. Then they will say: "Can we be respited?"

  • Qur'an 36:51~

"And the Trumpet will be blown and behold! From the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord."

"O mankind! Fear your Lord and be dutiful to Him! Verily, the earthquake of the Hour (of Judgement) is a terrible thing." (QUR'AN 22:1)
